Thank you for visiting our Web Site and spending some of your precious time with me – I appreciate that. Let me try and give back then, with hopefully some useful information that will help you enjoy the beautiful Beaver Valley and the Southern Georgian Bay area, and all of their amenities.

First, some background about me, especially if you are to choose me as your professional REALTOR®. I was born in Brantford Ontario and have lived in Toronto, Kitchener/Waterloo and London, working my entire career as a sales person or sales manager for construction related companies - mostly cement and concrete product related firms, servicing the new home building markets.

During this time, I have gained a very broad understanding of construction practices, while working with both large and small General Contractors, Home Builders, Surveyors, Planners and Engineers, developing contacts and learning along the way.

As I moved up to live full time in Eugenia, back some 25 years ago, I met and worked with many trades, from foundation companies and framers, to master carpenters and stone masons. Being from the city, it took some time to get to know the best handymen, plumbers, electricians, roofing companies, grass cutting firms, snow blower operators, septic tank and tile bed companies, chalet cleaning staff, and other trades, to help me take care of my own chalet, up from the public dock, on Lake Eugenia. I now have 100s of contacts, to help and pass on to you.

I have vigorously pursued my sports of skiing and teaching skiing, snow shoeing, mountain and road biking, tennis, and golf, enjoying this wonderful valley to the fullest.

In 1995, the Beaver Valley Ski Club, www.BeaverValley.ca of which I have been a member since 1981, hired me to sell the memberships that became available as families retired from the club.

Together with the very capable staff we have helped over 2,000 families become members of the Club, and many have become very close friends.

I must say that this part-time sales position has been, and continues to be one of the highlights of my sales career. The process is not a typical Presentation and Close, it is simply a low key discussion of an Active Family Life Style, whereby we customize each tour to the family’s specific needs and interests. (Gail Crawford, my fiancée and real estate partner and I, have developed a creative way to tour both the lower and upper portions of the Club property, and the Valley, using Walky Talkies, thereby saving you time, and shortening the tour from 3 hours down to 1 hour).

The Beaver Valley Ski Club is one of several Private Ski Clubs in the region which provide a very special winter and summer environment for families to enjoy a safe and active outdoor lifestyle, away from the hustle and bustle of the City.

The Beaver Valley Ski Club, is known for the instant friendliness that is extended to any and all of our guests. My daughters learned to ski safely here at BVSC, and enjoyed many friendships, that continue to this day.

So, now onto the final and probably, the most rewarding career – Selling Real Estate in the Beaver Valley and on Lake Eugenia, in Grey Highlands and the encompassing Southern Georgian Bay area.

I was fortunate to have been hired by Chestnut Park, who believed in my honesty and integrity, my sales professionalism, and my organizational approach to the details of this business. I applied to Chestnut Park because of their widely accepted Brand, sales support systems, in house legal consul, and their exceptional success in the Southern Georgian Bay region, in a very short 6 and half years. In the beginning, I made a conscious decision to work with seasoned sales agents and brokers at our Collingwood office, who worked as Mentors, as we developed our business plan, and personal brand, within the Chestnut Park Brand and Company Guidelines.

Our marketing approach to our Buyers will be to find the most appropriate chalet or country property for those young families in their mid 30s or early 40s, looking in the Valley, and then to also find a more permanent retirement home for our 55 year old demographic, up along the shores of beautiful Georgian Bay. Gail, specializes in this particular part of our Business Model, and consciously attends every Thursday MLS new listing tour, from Collingwood around to Meaford, to be totally aware of that market for you, when you call.

We can be reached at either our Beaver Valley home office, our Collingwood home on Mondays and Tuesdays, or at the Chestnut Park Collingwood First Street office. We work very hard 7 days a week, from very early each morning till 6:00 pm in the evening, when we like to shut down, and turn our phones onto silent.
